We’re all about doing better for the planet. From choosing responsibly sourced gold and silver to handcrafting our pieces in ways that actually respect people and the environment. We use Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) which is far cleaner for the planet than traditional electroplating.

PVD is considered a "green" or eco-friendly technology because it is a clean, dry, and highly efficient surface coating process that eliminates toxic waste and reduces energy consumption compared to traditional plating methods. 

No Toxic Waste or Harmful Emissions: Unlike electroplating, which uses hazardous chemicals and liquid solvents, PVD is a dry vacuum process. It does not produce toxic fumes or dangerous wastewater, reducing the environmental footprint and ensuring safety. 

Significantly Lower Carbon Footprint: PVD technology provides a roughly 76% reduction in environmental impacts, particularly in CO2 equivalent, compared to traditional techniques. It also offers up to 83% lower emissions related to material processing.

Water Conservation: PVD technology eliminates the need for water-intensive plating baths and rinsing, unlike traditional electro-plating.

Extends Product Lifespan: Because PVD coatings are exceptionally durable and resistant to corrosion and wear, they make products last longer, reducing the need for replacements and lowering overall material consumption.

No Hazardous By-products: The process uses materials that are generally safe and non-toxic, such as nitrogen or hydrocarbon gases, to deposit thin, metallic films.

Reduced Energy Usage: Compared to conventional coating methods, PVD is highly energy-efficient and can provide up to 12% in electrical energy savings.
